Looks: Fairly average looking. He has short, brown hair and a pair of thin, round glasses. He's normally wearing his Ra Yellow uniform, with his jacket open. He's always seen with his favorite pair of lime green Converses.
Weight/Height: 5'9"
Personality: Zaine gets agitated easily with others. He's often stressed about his work load, so he often shifts that frustration into anger when someone does something to bother him. He rarely is the first one to start a conversation, and when a conversation does occur, he's often the first to try and end it.
Most often, when set with a problem that is affecting him, he'll attempt to hide it from others or pretend that it doesn't bother him.
History: His family comes from the upper middle class in America, and although they push him to become a doctor, or a lawyer, in his heart all he really wants to be is a duelist. This causes a conflict within the family. His older sister believes that he should follow his dream, but his parents say "Dreams don't pay the bills."
The only reason his parents agreed for Zaine to try out for a chance to be accepted into Duel Academy was because they believed he wouldn't have made it. When he did, they said they would pull him out immediately if he didn't resume his studies of the more "traditional" sense, such as math, science, and English. Zaine now takes classes for Duel Academy as well as these traditional classes online.
Zaine knows that if he starts doing poorly in either section of his studies, his parents will pull him out immediately, so he continues to push himself. As for his sister, he constantly keeps in touch with her, writing letters, because he believes e-mails and texts are "far too impersonal".
