Personality:
Blue eyes, purple hair, this girl looks cute! Many are fooled by her cute outward appearance, thinking she may be that of an angel. But never judge a book by it's cover. She can be quite nice, though she does have quite the attitude. Meaning she can be a major bitch if you cross her the wrong way, whether your a friend of hers or not. She doesn't care when she's pissed off. Which goes into, that she has a short bad temper. But if she snaps at a friend, she takes it easier on them if it were someone else. Though she fails to admit this, and says she treats everyone the same when she's mad, but like was said she doesn't.

When it comes to dueling, she takes it seriously but does try to have fun. Unless to pissed off to care. In class, she can multi-task. Since she's very intelligent. If she's day-dreaming in class and the instructor calls her to repeat what was said, she easily can. Only because her auditory skills are well in-tuned. So she's knows her stuff, about dueling. However, she doesn't always duel. In fact it's seldomly, and hard to get a duel with her. Since she wants an opponent par to her level though if it's for fun with one of her friends. She might hesitate but will eventually give in.

She's quite mature, but she can be laid back and goofball sometimes. After-all, she likes to have fun as much the next person. She's very much a tomboy! She'd rather play football with the guys than go to a salon with the girls. It's simply in her nature, she tends to have more male friends than female friends because of this. She finds it easier to hang with boys than girls. It just seems more of her thing, really. Though this doesn't mean she hates girls or anything. She doesn't mind other girls, but if they try to convert her to the "preppy girly side"it scares the hell out of her. She will comically run off to be with her male friends, if such truly awful things such as that are thrown her way.

She's confident in herself, speaks her mind, and doesn't put up with any kind of bullshit. That's just how she is. Most people look at this and may call her arrogant, but she calls it, "being herself instead of being fake." She often is seen with a lollipop in her mouth. She just likes them a lot. Most say that added touch gives an extra touch to really show her inner personality of being boyish, on the outside.

As for the aspects of love, she's new to the thought of it. She's very tomboyish yet she wouldn't mind someone to be with. Though she's not necessarily trying to look for someone. She figures, if it happens it happens. Though surely she would be a good lover, since the girl obviously has a soft big heart.

History:
She was born to Usui Sayomi and Kisara Sayomi. Who were natural Japanese citizens, however after a few years of Mikaru being born, her father was transferred for his job to America. The whole family went with him. She went to a public school in America, from her elementary to the middle of her high-school days. She was popular, and had made alot of friends where she lived. Though her parents decided to move back when she was 15, and though she would miss her friends. She didn't mind.

And so, she moved back to Japan. The city of Tokyo. Where she was born. She was introduced to dueling, and soon had built up a deck of her own. She often dueled against other people, due to being new to the craze that was being started. However, it died down when she learned that if she were to duel with others, it had to mean something. Not just do it for nothing. So she learned of Seto Kaiba's duelist academy. She took the opportunity and decided to leave at 16. Her parents accepted her choice, and she has been in the academy ever since in the dorm of Obelisk Blue.
